Creating a Project on Steer



After completing your registration on Steer, it is required to start creating the company’s first project. Upon clicking on Get Started this will redirect you to the Project Creation Wizard. Here is the step-by-step process you need to follow:

Step 1: Project Details


Fill in the necessary project details:

Name
Type – Select the project type from the dropdown.
Start and End Date – Set the project’s start and end dates by clicking on the calendar icon and selecting a date.

If you want to provide more information about the project, click on Add More Details. Fill in these fields:

Description
Client
Location
Original Budget
Current Budget
Thumbnail – To select an image, click on Click to Upload Image, and the image will be automatically uploaded image as the project’s thumbnail.

Click Next.

Step 2: Inclusions


Choose the modules you want to include by ticking the corresponding box next to it.
Click Next.

Step 3: Members


Here, you will select which individual will be involved in the project.

Choose the module you want to assign users to. A list of available users is displayed.
Tick the corresponding box to each user you want to add.
Click Next.

Step 4: Permission


Here, you will determine each user’s access to specific modules.

Choose the module you want to work on first. A list of available users is displayed.
To specify the user access level, click on its corresponding dropdown.
Once you have entered the necessary details for your project, click on Create to proceed.

A popup will appear confirming that the project has been created successfully and prompting you to begin by clicking on Get Started. This will redirect you to the Project dashboard.
